Charge Ports By Region
Different Regions across the globe use different charge port types. The table below shows the pin configuration for each.
DC Charging - CCS1 and CCS2
CCS1 and CC2 are used for DC charging which is used in all Proterra applications.
- CCS1 - Used in NA supports 1-phase AC and DC
- CCS2 - Used in EU support 1-phase AC, 3-phase AC, and DC
Charge Rate Capability
Charge interface types are capable of charging at different rates
- AC Charging is for 2-43kW
- DC Charging is for 50-150kW (The larger the battery system to higher charge rates required)
